Happy

I'm so happy I could burst
It's a feeling far from the worst
This time is not the very first

It actually happens quite often
Even in the bathroom now and then
Today it occurred in the the car again

It's like an overwhelming joy
More and more of it to deploy
I'm bursting from the seems, oh boy!

College

There's no more nails to bite
The most stressful thing is life
Fingers weren't made to chew
Now I don't know what to do


A huge exam is in the morning
Our teacher gave us the warning
The whole week was packed
Studying and test prep lacked
Only ten hours until the test
There's no time to even rest

Questions need good answers
But now my tired mind blurs
It's time to work like crazy
To prove that I am not lazy

College is like a growling beast
Not forgiving even the least
It takes captive of our brains
Causing them all sorts of pains
All we can do is try to study
Just study, study, and study

Now I sit at the round table
Feeling quite less than able
Determined to do my best
I must prepare for the test
